3 Lessons Program
Our cooking vacations at the Tenuta Castel Venezze will allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of Veneto and learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment. Classes are limited to 4/8 participants. The classes are small enough to accommodate cooks of all levels and are ideal for small groups of family and friends.
It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the day enjoying the surroundings, sightseeing or playing golf and could then join the group at dinnertime.
Our programs are very flexible in the choice
The basic program includes:
Three-night stay at Villa Tenuta Castel Venezze, full-board accommodations in double room with private bathroom.
3 cooking lessons in the morning from 10:30 am to approx. 2.30 pm. (lunch included) and all meals, including noble Italian and Venetian wines and other drinks.
Euros 600,00 per person. (min. 2 persons max. 4 persons; for groups of more than 4 person ask the staff)
In the afternoon are avallable the following visits (half day):
Bagnoli visit and wine tasting.
Salami production Farm near Ferrara, visit and food tasting
Cheese production Farm near Anguillara, visit and cheese tasting

1ST DAY:
Arrival at the Villa for dinner or in the morning at ten o'clock for the cooking course - (Transfer is not included)
Welcoming and 1st Cooking Lesson with lunchWine tasting course
10.30 am:
Hands-on Cooking Lesson
Today we're going to start making dishes using techniques and recipes handed down through generations of local women. Typical appetizers, pasta, tagliatelle, tortellini, meat courses, side dishes, vegetables and cakes. Lunch follows, including d.o.c. Italian wine.
In the afternoon you can relax at the villa, or visiting the beauties of the nearer Sightseeings. We also offer you the possibility to participate in one of our Tours.
Dinner at the villa.
2RD DAY:
Breakfast, 2nd Cooking Lesson with lunch Dominio di Bagnoli winery
Hands-on cooking lesson during which you will learn how to make and cook other traditional Italian recipes, from appetizers to dessert. Lunch at the villa, with wine.
In the Afternoon is avvalable the visit with our Guide to Il Dominio di Bagnoli (Padua), Villa of the 1th century, where you'll taste the famous Friularo (red dry wine) in the cellars. We will be back at about 6.00 pm.
Dinner at the villa.
3TH DAY:
Breakfast, 3rd Cooking Lesson
Another full-menu hands-on cooking lesson and at the end, we sit down and enjoy the meal together.
In the afternoon is avallable a visit with our Guide, to Salami Copparo farm, near Ferrara, for learn the production of the most famous and tasty salamis of the area. At the end of the visit, a tasting with the farmers and our guide will be waiting for you.

Our Tenuta is in the Venice's countryside and in case you do not have a transport we can provide a taxi for you at Piazzale Roma in Venice. The cost of this service is 90 euros one way or 200 euros for a round trip. Otherwise, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is 7 euros per person and there is a train every hour. At your arrival to Rovigo I will come to pick you up till our Tenuta.
