Chioggia is the second biggest city in the lagoon of Venice, to the south of "La Serenissima" and near the river Brenta. It's called "the little sister" of Venice.
Chioggia has even its own "Canal Grande": the Canal Grande della Vena. Everything reminds me of Venice - the buildings, the lovely bridges...and the fish market.
The Fish Market is worth a visit. It is located between Corso del Popolo and Canal Vena. It offers a rich variety of fish from the sea and the lagoon: bibarasse (clams) and caparossoli (carpet shell clams), sievali (gray mullet) and bisati (eels), and many others.

Our Tenuta is in the Venice's countryside and in case you do not have a transport we can provide a taxi for you at Piazzale Roma in Venice. The cost of this service is 90 euros one way or 200 euros for a round trip. Otherwise, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is 7 euros per person and there is a train every hour. At your arrival to Rovigo I will come to pick you up till our Tenuta.
