Veneto is known for its capital city, Venice, one of the most popular destinations in Italy. But just an hour or so to the west, at the foot of Euganean hills, lies the Venetian wine-growing area and your home for this unique countryside cooking vacation. The natural beauties of the land, its fertile fields and abundant harvests, and charming and unassuming people make your agrarian Veneto culinary holiday an exquisitely inviting and relaxing experience.
This is our best-selling class. We peel, we bash, we chop, and we cook together. Ultimately, we sit down and enjoy the meal with a good bottle of wine. This program last six nights with 5-morning classes. Make sure to reserve this holiday weekly cooking class early. The classes are small enough to accommodate cooks of all levels and are ideal for small groups of family and friends. An excursion is set up with a visit to a winery in the Colli Euganei wine region. On-demand, other optional tours are available in the afternoon every day.
The basic program includes the following:
5-night stay at the Villa, full board accommodation in double rooms with private bathroom.
Three hands-on cooking lessons with our chef Simone.
Wine day tour to Venetian Hills to visit a winery and taste the local white and red wines.

5-Night Cooking Class Program
1ST DAY (SUNDAY):
Arrival at the Villa - the Transfer is not included
Time to mingle with the other guests and welcome dinner with a Prosecco wine glass or a typical Spritz.
2ND DAY (MONDAY):
1st Cooking Lesson + lunch with our chef.
10.30 am: Hands-on Cooking Lesson
Get ready! Today we'll start using techniques and recipes handed down through generations of local women. Lunch at the villa, with wine.
In the afternoon you can relax at the villa, or visit the beauties of the nearer Sightseeing. We also offer you the possibility to participate in one of our Tours.

3RD DAY (TUESDAY):
2nd Cooking Lesson + lunch
10.30 am: Hands-on Cooking Lesson
Today you will learn how to make and cook another traditional Italian menu focused on Tortelli, Tagliatelle, and dessert. Lunch at the villa with wine. Lunch at the villa with wine.
Free time, during the rest of the day, our staff will be available to set up another activity; we have many contacts with the local operators and will grant valuable services.

4TH DAY (WEDNESDAY):
3rd Cooking Lesson + lunch.
Italian cooking tips and secrets about regional dishes are revealed while preparing a three-course meal using only what's in season. You will get free time during the rest of the day, and our staff will be available to set up another activity; we have many contacts with the local operators and will grant valuable services. For instance, our staff can plan an excursion to the beautiful town of Chioggia or the natural park of Po Delta for a bike ride. Please ask for a quote.

5TH DAY (THURSDAY):
4th Cooking Lesson + lunch
Today you will be involved with Risotto all'Italiana. Our region is known for the rice cultivated in the Po Delta. As a dessert, you could try to make a delicious Tiramisù, another local recipe of our land. In the end, we sit down and enjoy the meal together.
Afternoon free time to relax after a long work in the kitchen. You can ask our staff to plan an excursion to a local olive mill company for an extra virgin olive oil tasting.

6TH DAY (FRIDAY):
Breakfast and check-out - (Transfer is not included)
HOW TO GET HERE
On-demand, our staff can arrange a driver for your pick-up at Venice train Station or Venice airport.
To get to Rovigo, the best transport is by train. It starts every hour from Venice and stops at Rovigo Railway Station; the ride is about 1 hr, and the cost for a round trip is approximately € 15 per person.

Our Tenuta is in the Venice's countryside and in case you do not have a transport we can provide a taxi for you at Piazzale Roma in Venice. The cost of this service is 90 euros one way or 200 euros for a round trip. Otherwise, you may get a train from Venice Santa Lucia’s train station to Rovigo (the nearest city to us). The price of a single ticket is 7 euros per person and there is a train every hour. At your arrival to Rovigo I will come to pick you up till our Tenuta.
